Our Promoters
Dr. S. V. Anchan
Dr. S. V. Anchan, a young corporate executive of Indian descent and the chairman of the Safesea Group, is responsible for putting his organization Safesea Group on the map of global shipping.
Hailing from a family of three generations of shipping executives, Dr. Anchan was exposed to the shipping industry business at a very young age and became the first-generation entrepreneur.
He has over 25+ years of experience working in diverse areas of ship management, port agency, arbitration, port management, sales and purchases of vessels, container cargo, liner services, NVOCC, finance, chartering, contract of affreightment, VSA, marine insurance (P & I and H & M), feeder and coastal services.
He has received the highest Indian shipping honor i.e. the “Shipping Pravasi Award” from the National Maritime Day Celebrations Committee on the National Maritime Day of India on April 5th, 2016.
He was among the Top 10 Inspiring Leaders of year 2022 curated by Global Brand Research & Consulting firm Heylin for motivating & inspiring others to stay focused and achieve more.
He also has been featured in Outlook Business magazine of Oct’22 edition as one of the outperformers in the Indian Business industry
Mr. Sushil Gupta
Mr. Sushil Gupta, a seasoned Indian entrepreneur in the global logistics business is the Chairman cum Managing Director of Atlas Group. Atlas Group is heavily technology driven with usage of latest logistics software followed by 24*7 call centers, a robust IT department, and infrastructure followed by best measures towards data protection and security.
Considered as a progressive thought leader in the trade with more than 3 decades of international experience.
Founder cum CMD of Atlas De Cargo, Atlas Shipping Services Private Limited, Blue Moon Logistics Private Limited, Preferred Partners Insurance Brokers Private Limited, Datapings Business Analytics Private Limited and a Joint Venture partner of SeaBlue Shipping and Logistics Private Limited.
Mr. Gupta is the member of PHD Chamber of Commerce along with other chambers. Founder member of Logistics Insurance Committee of UNISON STEADFAST and member of various logistics networks worldwide.
Atlas Group is the recipient of some of the most prestigious awards like the Best Forwarder award given by Nepal Chamber of Commerce, various awards towards the most outstanding contribution by leading international shipping lines and various international networks.
He was the only logistics member accompanying the Hon’ble Indian Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi during his visit to Rwanda and Uganda in the year 2018 for bilateral trade development.
Mr. Gupta is a global citizen having travelled extensively throughout the globe and continues to travel mostly on business. Though he is completely globally exposed, he remains a self-made person coming from a decent and humble background which keeps him rooted to the ground and makes him a people-centric person.
